About this song
This evocative pop track captures the bittersweet essence of a romance caught between the thrill of discovery and an unbreakable, mystical barrier. Set against the backdrop of a day spent exploring the vibrant streets of New Paris, the song follows two lovers whose physical proximity highlights a growing emotional distance, as they find themselves unable to truly connect despite the city’s many charms. Driven by a captivating, rhythmic energy that mirrors the movement of the final train ride, the lyrics weave a tale of a fateful, cursed kiss that leaves the protagonists destined to remain strangers even as they fall for one another. It is a hauntingly beautiful exploration of love lost in the abstract, perfect for anyone who has ever felt the sting of a connection that remains perpetually just out of reach.
